Freelancing from the start, I’ve sharpened my writing and strategy skills in some of the most dynamic and competitive markets in the world.
From interviewing the legends of early hip hop to auditing the online content of the world’s largest academic journal repository, I’ve contributed to projects that represent almost every industry. Along the way I’ve won a few awards and collaborated with some incredible people.
I’m always interested to answer questions or learn about new projects and potential collaborations, so please feel free to contact me.
With an educational background in journalism and PR I’ve freelanced my entire career in print and digital media, predominately for digital agencies in New York City. Since October of 2009 I have spent extensive periods of time in India while working with clients based in the US, Europe and India. My Indian clients include culinary and consumer brands, international luxury travel, biotechnology, and international investment consulting.
Over the course of five years (2006-2011) I contributed to three Web Marketing Association Award winning projects. My work with New York’s C&G Partners on the Portico.org website won the Web Marketing Association’s Non-Profit Standard of Excellence Award in October of 2010. In 2015 I reunited with the team at C&G Partners as Content Strategist for Macaulay Honors College, the honors college of the City of New York.
Though copy writing and content strategy are my strongest professional skills, I am also an experienced visual communicator and stylist. This began in New York in the late 90’s when I supplemented my writing business for a few years with still life styling and continues today in my work consulting to the internationally acclaimed designer Paul Mathieu. In 2012 I scripted, shot and edited a series of short videos highlighting some of India’s most iconic destinations and hotels for Enchanting-Travels. There is also an extensive selection of my India travel photography on Flickr and boards which reflect my aesthetic approach on Pinterest.
